How it all began
I am born and raised in Texas! I grew up in Houston, went to college in San Marcos and have lived in the DFW area for 24 years! I started a love for photography when I was in middle school, taking pictures of everyday life wherever I was, inside or outside, people, pets, objects. It was all important. I started to see the world in photographs. Then I would sit for hours going through photo albums, cutting up my own pictures along with words and images from magazines. This was long before computers or phones could create collages for you! Soon the glue would come out, and it would turn into a messy collage of my life. My memories, my "remember when" moments that all told a story.
As I moved through high school into college, my love for photography continued to grow from film and dark room processing with some of the best professors to the digital era, which was a whole new world! As technology has grown, I have just grown along with it, embracing every change along the way. Always learning, always creating, always storytelling with my camera, "remember when" memories.

My promise to you

When you book a session with me, you will be booking an experience that you will be able to cherish forever. Your images will be your own "remember when" moments, and will tell your story from whatever stage of life you are living. Whether it's a Senior graduation, an engagement, maternity, new baby, family, pet, Quincinera, new home, family reunion; it all matters. They all create the collages of our lives, remembering stories that last forever.
Things you need to know about me
I love Seniors, kids, pets and families! I have been a photographer for more than 20 years in Dallas and a former teacher for 15 years in Garland, and so my experience with children and families is extensive.

I am kind of an introvert and a wee bit sarcastic! I promise that I can help anyone get comfortable in front of the camera.

Photo sessions are an experience, not just a pose and shoot moment. Playing, laughing, joking, hugging, exploring, connecting. Capturing "remember when" moments is what it's all about.
